If I was choosing a car, money no object, I'd go on looks and exclusivity. I wouldn't really care too much if the top speed was over 200mph, where am I going to do that speed without getting a huuuuge fine and losing my license (and don't say a track or airplane strip)?wensleydale8 wrote:
LOL basically im saying why do you need a £120,000 car when you can spend £15,000 on a bike which is already as fast as a ferrari in stock form and witth the turbo is faster than a Buggati Veyron. The fastest street leagal haybusa has set a GPS record speed of around 265MPH.
But where I live ive seen 1 F360( has power but lacks torque) DB9 and thats about it really but porsches are common as hell here in the UK. but ive seen 1 benley azure a 1 Bentley GTC convertible( rebadged VW phaeton which is bigger and around £90,000 for a second hand one.
yeah, i see vanquish's and tv2's often!
it's a 1967 mustang GT (cobra model) my favorite car of all time, i have to get it when i get the money to pay the gas bill for it, sucks fuel like nothing else.FFLink13 wrote:
My dream car would be the car from Gone in 60 Seconds, Elenor (or however you spell her). She fucking owns.
Also, gotta love For GT40.
Also get an Evo, and a Vauxhall Vectra (Don't ask why, but I love em).
How much would one of those go for?motherdear wrote:

Not enough room to pick up ho's on that. Therein lies the car/bike difference.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

That is what I see every day in Glasgow. It's like a car fest here.
I know like 7 guys who own either an Aston, Tuscan, Porsche or Ferrari. Quite sad if you ask me.

1965 shelby gt500 It said 67 in the movie but the car was actually 65 ...The director of that movie ended up buying one.FFLink13 wrote:

You're telling me that if you had the chance to own one of those cars you wouldn't want one because you thought it was sad?Zimmer wrote:

I've seen 4 bentleys in the same day, 2 continental's on the same street within 10 meters of each other, the other two were continental GT's. Its odd i tend to see bentleys more than porche's or lambo's.
You don't get it. People actually judge others because of their cars.buLLet_t00th wrote:

The guys I know, they live in shacks...literally. Why? Because they wanted to impress the girls and show off a car. Instead of having a decent home.
Continental GTs are VERY common cars. Not as expensive as some of the beasts. Like the DB9.Noobeater wrote:

gotta love the DB9, aston sure do know how to make beautiful cars
True, but if I had the decision of a nice house or a nice car I'd always go for the house (Maybe an Aston though )Zimmer wrote:

Then again, the same type of people are usually the people that are never at home. So there you go, Zimmrar.Zimmer wrote:

I prefer a balance of both, maybe a Skyline or something. 1998. Not too shabby.

cars like that FAIL. they try to look cool and go up with 'the big boys', but they are just no match.
I saw a Galardo up here once, only one that's ever been bought in our province; our roads are shit. Had a Ferrari park beside me at STAPLES once, my uncle and I lol'd so hard. The majority of "nice" cars up here are ricers, a few skylines, supra's, rx-7's.

Yes, I would take a BMW M6 or an AMG C63
