This poll is just to see if people would support the use of a teamwork tag. Essentially, whenever you are looking to play as a team, you put [TW] in front of your name. This allows you to easily squad up with other [TW] tagged players. The tag would be entirely opt-in: you would only put the tag on when you actually want to play as a team.

If enough people do this (I'm talking in the hundreds), then you would regularly meet other TW players, which should make a better experience for everyone.

Not really, as BF2S is limited to this forum. TW would apply to any player.

You'd need to get it really popular though, due to the large amount of servers and players etc.

Sounds a good idea!

I'd support it, but I believe a lot of players are just too proud of their clan tags, and so it would have to be broadcasted on a big scale level to reach them..

Maybe talk to EA. If you are battlerecorded 10 times with a [TW] they remove one of your purple hearts...
This would make the [TW] tag most popular...

Oh, shit, I forgot that EA isnt even able to track normal stats...

It would be hard  to popular... you won't get people asking what it means on servers, they will just presume it is a clan.

A good idea, but very unlikely it will take off

It's an interesting idea, but I agree that it would have to get really popular for it to work at all. You might as well just be in a clan because the chances of this being popular enough that you join a server with enough [TW]'s to fill a clan or even any other than yourself are pretty slim. Also, there will definitely be guys abusing the tag:

I voted no only because I wear my clan tags.  But players may join your squad if you wear [TW].  They might think that you are in the TW clan.  Clan players usually work together in squads more then players who are not in clans.  I say this because they usually game together on a regular basis and usually make squads.

Suggestions for promotting teamwork is to make a squad called Teamwork or VOIP.  Players joining will get the idea what you want to do.  If the VOIP is working, use it and give orders to your squad members.  If you join a squad, test the VOIP to see if it works and the other players use it.

That is my take on your idea.

You'd probably have more luck if you just made squads named "teamwork" then a [tw] tag.

This is exactly what I thought as well.    It makes way more sense to create or join a squad name Team Work then to change your characters name based on how you feel like you want to play.

And all this time I thought [TW] meant Taiwanese players... No wonder no one understands me on the mic

Nah, they wouldnt hate me. But i dont really see the point of creating a new tag system other than BF2s when they basically function as the same thing.

IMO it would just end up with a bunch of lone wolfs sporting the TW tag....

Ive noticed 3/5 teamwork players don't consider working as a squad to be necessary for "teamwork"

I'm sure many clans have tags that are [TW] although I do support teamwork....I hate people who join squads but dont' act like a squad
