You're right about the X35 boards, haven't heard about the G38's though.buLLet_t00th wrote:
The P35 MOBOs have been out for a while, they're the only ones that support 45nm at the moment. I think the next type to support are X38 and G38 (correct me if Im wrong about the exact names).unnamednewbie13 wrote:
Penryn will still use LGA-775, not to say that it'll work. It needs the proper VRM implementation. Not sure which support it (if any, currently), but at least a few will come.cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:
Penryn is for desktop. Penryn will defiantly need a new motherboard coz it's 45nm.
G38's are like the crappy version of the X35, because of the integrated graphics.ghettoperson wrote:

Isnt that a graphics problem :S ^^^
Probably not. Supreme Commander is very CPU intensive.Bell wrote:

Yup, apparently quad cores are just about enough. Even dual cores have problems.Bertster7 wrote:

Bit of lag when there are loads of units onscreen. But usually pretty smooth.
One thing I dont get about the game is why the one hit K.O tanks. it takes like a 100 of them to kill one of those point defense things, the ones you have to destroy in the UEF Campaign Mission 1. Why not make some more stronger units and like we can have less of them isntead of having weak units and trillions of them.Bertster7 wrote:
