I have been an AOL member for 8 years, and have rarely had a problem with the service you provide.
Recently however, I am becoming increasing disgruntled with the service that has been so reliable and dependable in the past.
We pay for an 8mb Line. With this speed I expect pages to open instantly, and to download files at 600kbps.
Unfortunately, as of late, I haven’t been receiving anywhere close to the speeds I expect, or to the speeds you say you provide.
Downloads from any site download at 10kbps, and browsing the web is sluggish and slow. We have 4 computers connected to the internet connection you provide, though a Netgear Router. All computers have Virus Software Installed, and Firewalls Running. The Router has the most up-to-date firmware. Every computer downloads at the same pathetically slow rate no matter what time of the day it is, and it does not matter which other computers are on or off.
I believe that this firmly suggests that the cause of our pitifully slow internet connection does not reside on our Local Network- It is a problem with the service you provide us.
The service we are currently receiving is nowhere near the standards we have received, and currently expect from AOL, or in fact any ISP
