Fuck yes!
15 more years! 15 more years!
housewives. bored americans that don't want to live their own lives. they want to be told how and what to do. give em a break though, its all that cold war brainwashing.geNius wrote:
1) That clearly demonstrates why a woman should never be elected president. =]
2) She freaking rules for not covering Paris as a top story.
I, personally, will never understand why celebrities' lives are "news". Honestly, who gives a f...?
This isn't staged. It is real. Go to google msnbc and Mika to find the story.
Also, she is my hero for this. Paris Hilton is not fucking news. Her being released from prison is not news. Her life belongs on E! and in tabloids, not on a national news broadcast...ever.

I'm guessing that MTV doesn't cover it for these people. Entertainment news will never be enough, since so many people could be shaven for their wool.Ender2309 wrote:

Never understood that, It's kinda pathetic how magazines worship people who basically do nothing for the world. Footballers get paid like 30-40 grand a week nurses get 19 - 30 grand a year. Just doesn't seem right to me.
dont forget teachers...they're kinda important too...and offer more than celebritiesBruce-SuperNub wrote:

Staged.
Why would they have a noisy paper shredder in the broadcast room.

Staged. Or she needs to get laid asap.
If it's like Aus, some news reports are shot with the cubicles in the background. Maybe to convince people that they research their stories?JahManRed wrote:

If you're serious: Sexist much? This has nothing to do with her being a woman. It just shows she's a serious journalist and wants to report actual news, not tabloid bullshit. If anything, this makes her more qualified than our current president because she at least has a decent sense of priority.geNius wrote:

If you're joking: My apologies, please disregard.
Either way: GG to her.
Yes, the smiley clearly indicates seriousness. It's like a giant sign screaming out "THIS IS NOT A JOKE! DO NOT LAUGH! DO NOT CHUCKLE! DO NOT SMILE! THE SMILIE IS HERE SO THAT YOU NEED NOT! INSTEAD LOOK SERIOUS! THINK HARD! THIS IS NOT A JOKE!".
I dont know wether it is or not but i loled at the whole thing
That was great, I enjoyed that. It's pretty clear the other guys weren't taking it seriously either, but I'm not sure why they wanted them to show footage of her.
to goad the female reporter ghetto. I'm glad someone finally said that Paris stankston isn't news and I hate the media coverage celebrities get, big fuckin deal they are regular people too, I'd rather have the foiled attack in London as the lead then anything about a slut icon.
Yeah I know, but I figured if they hated her too why would they want to put her on the news? But yes, I know it was to piss her off. Clearly annoying her live to TV is more fun than ignoring Paris Hilton.Ridir wrote:

I reckon unstaged and +1 to that reporter - Paris Hilton is not news.
Nope, we have Prince Phillip and his inappropriate comments. He's hilarious.rdx-fx wrote:

All I get is some whiny ass journalist. :S
While I like how they diss Paris Hilton, I really find it hard to believe that this wouldn't be staged.
It was funny nonetheless...

I can tell you this, that the news network didn't know about this but she knew that she was going to do this when that morning she got the script, so I guess it was somewhat staged.
Does this remind anyone of the movie network, when, I think his name was Howard, Howard says he is going to kill himself on the air, and everyone just ignores him. Then when they realize they only keep him on the air to keep up high ratings.
