NO, I have seen Generals that can't fight for shit on the ground, or couldn't fly for shit. Look at some of their spm, .395 etc.
In defense to that sometimes its hard when some of us (Like me) use a wireless mouse and teh mouse stops receieveing the signal.Matt^ wrote:

I have noticed that most Colonels I fly in the chopper with are horrible. Now, I run into horrible gunners and pilots constantly, but regarding officer ranks, Colonels are generally and consistently the worst. Why is that I asked myself? Then it dawned on me: they're trying to meet a requirement to become general! Just a theory, but it's a good one.
I play with three 3-stars basically everyday and they are about the best players I've come across. I play with/against random 1/2/3 stars and they suck.
So basically, high ranks don't mean you're good. It basically just means you've dedicated a lot of time.

I play like shit first few rounds i am there then i kick it into high gear, You should see the things they type when I got -20 the round before get 100 points the next, I got banned for that shit once, But it was worth it. Also if i really wanna screw with people i type "/Hack Aimbot on" or "/Hacks wallhack on" It's so fucken funny when people act when i type that.(Especially after they see my "skill") Or when i'm flying i'll crash the heli and say sorry and type /Hack pilot skill on. I did that once to these noobs who were jet hogging on wake. He asked me if it will make him a 4-star, I told him it will only rank you up one rank at a time and it will take a week for it to work, You might crash to desktop but thats only because the server is sending so much data to your pc. I've flown with some shit ass colonels. You never know when you find one who plays IO karkand everyday and then needs his 50 chopper hours to rank up. I am NEVER going to forget the Captain who didn't know that you can steer the TV missile.

Not necessarily. I took a DPV to the runway on Wake against a team which was had only a few Sergeants. Needless to say, I got quite a lot of roadkills. They didn't bother capping flags when they got left with just the airfield, they just sat and waited. But that's just one game out of thousands...Sgt. Sergio Bennet 3rd wrote:

i can bet when the generals were USMC the game was different.

As a 3 star general I try and be good at every aspect of the game, my infantry k/d ratio doesn't show my real skill though, due to being spawn raped on air maps... But rank doesn't mean shit, but to me, everyone who has any number of stars as their rank had better fucking be good because you know that guy has to have at least 50 hours in every vehicle, plus 100 hours in armor... Too bad it's not true, many generals are baddies and are nothing but pubscrubs.
I think you get better until your around the rank of Staff Sergeant and then their practically all the same, everyone has different areas of skill though, Armor, Aviator, infantry, Commander, Squad Leader, and so on...
