I can't see anyone with either of those CPUs having trouble playing Crysis (from a CPU perspective anyway).

Personaly I went with the E6600 and got a motherboard that can handle the 1333FSB. Right now there are very few MB's that can run that anyway. The base of my computers is the mother board and just add the "toys" as "needed". I constantly rotate out parts and never really ever have to buy everything at once. I still using my x800 and HD's til next month when I can get new stuff. In a few years I will get a better CPU if needed. When talking thousandth's of a second I'll save the $200.
