Guys I want advice from any UK players.

I have just got rid of my broadband provider(Tiscali), as they where so crap.

Advice on a new provider would be cool guys as Tiscali are the only one I've used.

Would I be better with BT, or say Virgin through Cable TV, or anyone else you use/know of??.

Cheers guys.

Forget Virgin, their customer support is non-existent.

Go BT.

As far as I know, I am on Telecom Plus and they are great. I get disconnected when the phone rings, but this is a problem on my head.. I should never fiddle with things! I just can't resist..

No matter what you choose, be humble in the fact that you aren't stuck with Telstra.
Don't let that 20mb plan fool you, there's less than 20 Telstra exchanges with ADSL2+.
They also only let us have faster than 1.5mb in December.

If this is all you have to pay, god damn!

Get BE.

Fast, reliable, cheap, unlimited access. Pretty poor technical support, but it always is.

£24 for 24Mbps/1.3Mbps, unlimited.

I am on a fantastic supplier but im not telling anyone who they are because then there will be less bandwidth for me to use. Small ISP, less congestion. 780 KB/s on usenet no  traffic shaping

I agree.....no problems what so ever, no downtime on service during busy times, great service, excellent speeds and no limit.

Thats stupid, its only your exchange server in your local area that would make it slow.
