Constantly runs into the damn UAV while I'm on a great killstreak? Am I just an idiot and should be more aware of my surroundings? I seem to do it at least once every couple of days, and it is really gay. The thing is, I normally hit my own team's one, because if I see a tank in that UAV zone, I go for it, and after swooping up out of a dive is when I normally hit it. Am I just an idiot, or does this happen to you as well?

Don't fly between 140-160 metres. That tends to be where the UAV ceiling is (Despite the fact you can be 'spotted' going over it )

I guess it's bad luck. I'm not a good pilot, but I am still careful enough not to hit such objects in the air, lol

Yeah, as a land luber I smpathise with you greatly. I hit walls, nades, jeeps, tanks... I know exactly how you feel. It's just unfair, I mean you take all that trouble to avoid the ground and those pesky AA guns and BOTH enemy jets, and then you also have to work out how to avoid all the other perils of the sky before you can unload those tiny, tiny bombs that are virtually useless. Stupid hit reg....

I'm a fucking magnet for UAV's when flying, and it always happens just as you said, coming up out of a dive and BOOM.

Edit: Somewhat off-topic, but in the ~120 hours I've been flying I had never been killed when flying through/past artillery. Two days ago I got killed 3 times in one round flying through it, not to mention I hit 2 UAV's in the same round -_-

I can't even count the number of times I've been hit by arty coming out of the guns (often on the very first shot) in helos and jets. My record is two times in one round (on two successive runs with the helo like five minutes apart). I've only hit the UAV a few times in the helo, don't think I ever have in the jet. But yeah, arty > me always.

I have never been hit by artillery, except once in a helicopter when I was getting repairs. I always hit the UAV, but generally commanders never issue them if you scream that you need it.. so work from that! Stay in bombed mode, then you don't need to even look at UAV except for infantry.

I've been UAV'd way too many times, most recently during the bf2s vs. TBF2 match, which ruined my otherwise perfect score

As for arty, it's happened to me 6 times so far, but only once when I wasn't flying over an arty cannon as it fired.

The worst is when its your teams UAV I actually feel guilty knowing that I have trashed the UAV support that squad bravo was gonna recieve.
