Spoiler (highlight to read):
Was about to post something similar to this, but decided to perform a bit of necromancy instead. Moved from EE to EE-MMP.

Here's what I actually saw as a kid (and not only as an adult):

Faithfully watched whenever possible:

Looney Tunes
Inspector Gadget
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
X-Men (the one(s) before Evolution, unless there was one I missed)
DuckTales
Duckula
Darkwing Duck
Talespin
The Real Ghostbusters
Ren & Stimpy/Doug/Rugrats
The Simpsons
Batman: The Animated Series
Tiny Toons Adventures (if I could sneak any in under the watchful gaze of disgusted parents at the time; I got the discs now so the joke's on them; they didn't give the shows a chance, but I played a few in recent years and now they think they're funny)

Watched if on:

Tom & Jerry
Bullwinkle & Rocky
G.I. Joe
Transformers
Smurfs
He-Man/She-Ra
Goofy, Mickey, Donald etc. Disney stuff
Scooby-Doo
Flinstones
Jetsons
Garfield (I even have the comics somewhere on my bookshelves; too bad they never made Calvin & Hobbes)
Heathcliff
Danger Mouse
Care Bears (screw you, it was animated)
Reading Rainbow (was it animated, or was it just the intro? lol)
The Little Prince (stupid theme still resurfaces in my brain now and then)
Popeye
Mr. T
My Little Pony (screw you, it was horrified fascination)
Pink Panther
Goof Troop
any Mario Bros./Sonic stuff
Any DC/Marvel stuff, for that matter
Carmen Sandiego (really digging up vague memories, here)
probably others, but along the lines of Droopy and a ton of HB stuff
edit: Felix the Cat
edit: Beetlejuice, David the Gnome, Chip n' Dale RR

Movies:

Pinocchio and Dumbo got me into cartoon movies as a little kid. Liked most Disney toons since. Standing out form the others are the two Rescuers, Peter Pan, Bambi, The Lion King, Fantasia, Beauty & the Beast and The Little Mermaid. Bedknobs and Broomsticks too for that weird animated dimension. The animated Lord of the Rings was pretty cool. The Last Unicorn was so strange that I remember my eyeballs being rooted to the screen.

---

I have youtube to thank for letting me 'pirate' Animaniacs and related shows. It's the only reason I now have them on DVD, because we didn't have TV when they were released. So if you haven't heard of anything on this list, go ahead and pop up an episode on youtube. If you're anything like me, you'll probably buy a season or two because of it...even through all the grumblings of the industry.

---

So yeah, if cartoons rot your brain, I'm pretty much screwed.

Bobby's World
Spider-man
The Simpsons
Duck Tales
Transformers
Tom & Jerry
various Looney Toons
Mummies Alive
Batman Beyond (this is one of my favorite cartoons ever, and even went back and re-watched all the episodes when I was in college )

Didn't have cable so I didn't watch much other than sometimes in the morning before school and Saturday mornings.

I actually found 'Batman Beyond' by looking for 'Batman: TAS' episodes, which lead me to 'The Batman.' All three are great shows, as far as I'm concerned.

yeah batman beyond was good would be cool if they made a movie about it , something new instead of constantly doing Batman....(there are 7 different batman movies ranging from 1989 till 2008)  but yeah Batman Beyond has a good plot or interesting one at least old Bruce and new batman

They did, unless you mean live action and not cartoon (BB: Return of the Joker). The 'old' characters in BB are exactly how I'd imagine them: battered and embittered. I even like the dog.

But I wonder, did the Justice League just bail on Batman, or did the show just not want to address galactic technology sitting around within easy reach of Bruce Wayne via their fancy space station?

Oh shit, I watched Felix the Cat too.

I only caught one part of one episode of P&B as a kid, though, so it doesn't count for this thread. Watched the DVD's cover to cover, though.

They had comedy for all ages. Daffy duck was also funny as shit with his coockoo-ness.

Now nothing but Hentai/Power Ranger type-crap cartoons.

Whoops, you reminded me of a few I forgot to mention: Beetlejuice, David the Gnome, Chip n' Dale RR

The Chip n' Dale theme song was way too addicting.
