CTD problem

the last few days i have kept getting CTD in game and i told someone else and apparently they were having the same problem, so I'm thinking of a reinstall, but has this happened to anyone else lately?
also when i reinstall do i have to reinstall my mods?

when you reinstall, make sure you do it manually, and not just using the uninstall wizard/ add & remove programs.

Yes,
happens when I try to switch teams. Dam near, every time. It will switch then CTD...Game will load real fast (ram resident). It takes me out of the spawn, for the f*%#ing toys

CTD Too often!!!

Coding for this fine software (game) is obviously done by mentally challenged people who live in a certain nation
who make claims that they are the greatest... BUT the people of this nation cannot catch the cave dwelling CIA Asset of theirs
gone rogue, nor make a suitable teenage FPS war series without bugs....

Sorry EA, somewhere down the line you dun fuhq'd up & it is indeed beyond your own repair.

It might be coincidence, but mine seems to crash when I steer myself just before opening my parachute.
My parachute button is the mouse wheel button, if that makes a difference.
I never miss the 9 key then

Does it crash when it loading a map? Like when it reaches @ 62%, then crashes? Does it crash on some or all of the maps in Single Player?
If so, you may have a corrupt 1.4 patch. Download it (1.4 patch) from another source.

Ive heard CTDs usally happen becuase of a low ammount of ram.... Ill find that post

I used to have that, i'm sure if you check your .dmp files you will have a ghostmanager crash issue- try reapplying the 1.41 patch again, it hasn't completely fixed my problem, but it has lowered the chances of it happening substantially

mine only crashes when i switch teams, and just when im about to spawn , it crashes and gives me some error message
