Edit: And I doubt you have actually played against them, so you really don't know how good they are. I can say from experience that the ones I've played with are pretty good. (Chuy, Voodoochild, Marconius)

Well, my experiences with admins/mods are:

Flaming_Maniac - Been on both sides of his chopper piloting. One side involves me dying. A lot. He also handles his defibrillator pretty damn well. Also, never mess with him when he has his clannies on his side.
Orangehound - Well, from what I've seen, he sucks at IO Karkand () and, rumor has it, he's a tank whore.
Chuy - All I remember is, I join the server, say "OMG IT'S CHUY", get rained on by his artillery, and say "CHUY YOU BASTARD".

Good and bad.
