Hello, Im thinking about getting a new monitor. I currently have a 17", but really want something bigger as I sit 90cm away from the monitor due to my desk size. I was think about a 20 - 22" soze monitor. I want it to be good for gaming and photoshop stuff. Any thoughts?

There was a thread about monitors a few days ago, but from what I can recall from it, the Samsung (dont know the model) seems to be kick ass. Response Time: 2ms is very good !

That first one is probably the best.

Response time owns. Plus the fact it's samsung. Win.

Oh, and 20" for £170? Can't get much better, GO4IT!

I got a samsung 931bw 19" wide tft the other week and its just awesome. I love it. If your monitor really that far away, i d get a 22" samsung. 19" or 20" is probably too small.

Cant you move your monitor closer to your keyboard?

I also have a gap of maybe 40/50 cm behind my monitor like everyone else i guess. Why should a gap look stupid?

I got my Acer AL2216W 22" LCD screen for $440Aus, which is resonably the same in that ebuyer thing of yours ya got there for 160 pounds or something. They're good, but sometimes (not often but does happen) the connection seems to drop out, might be just me though. Good bang for your buck there.
