- Will working significantly reduce the fat on my face?
Eat less. Sit less. Move more.
Your face will be fine.
Your face will be fine.
You could...just go to the gym atleast once a weak.
uhh is it possible that i have a face shape like those guys who hit the gym often? Like Brad pitt?
Running helps to burn fat in those places that dont have specificly trainable muscles. Such as your face and neck. Run!Ayumiz wrote:

Put on a pointy white hat and run through the ghetto, that'll give you a good work out.
But im serious, run run run! Jogging is also acceptable, get your heart beating.
Run at night when its cooler, and you can concentrate. Bring some music.

If you were not born with Pitt's face then my guess is no.
Again, eat healthy foods, spend less time sitting around and exercise. It's not that hard.
I would worry more about my heart health than my face but yes, if you do these things, the fat in your face should thin out.

That all depends on genetics and bone structure.Ayumiz wrote:

Just run for 45 minutes to an hour each day. Preferrably in the morning as soon as you wake up, your stomach's emptier so your body goes into fat-burning mode quicker. Eat a hundred to 300 less calories than what you burn in a day (here's a calculator to tell you how many calories you burn in one day. Factor in the exercise of course)
http://health.discovery.com/tools/calcu … basal.html
You could also eat say, 250 calories less and burn at least 250 when working out (an easy task if you run at a good pace). Try eating 6 meals a day instead of 3. Get the same amount of calories, just divide it up into 6 meals. This speeds up your metabolism and takes your body out of a 'store fat in case of a famine' mode.
Finally, you can't 'spot reduce'. Fat will burn in the order your body wants it to. Eventually you WILL lose the fat on your face, be it the first thing to go or the last. That's it.
edit: If you want a good book on getting leaner and more muscular, check out Bill Phillip's "Body for Life." Don't be turned away by all the 'before and after' pictures, the advice and info he gives you is very helpful.

Running, or doing many reps with low weight (on all muscle groups) should get rid of fat everywhere on your body, including your face. Just get some free weights and run around your neighborhood a couple of times.

running should do the trick
Running and swimming are the highest calorie burners. If you're really crappy at aerobic work outs, then try an elliptical or stationary bike to get your body used to it. Eventually, running should be what you do. It's great for your cardiovascular system (although really, any vigorous workout is) and it burns calories. Just run with proper form and use good running shoes. Don't push yourself harder than you can go either; you don't want a shin splint because you tried to run too fast too quickly.Ayumiz wrote:

So some other good forms of cardio are biking, ellipticals / cross trainers, rowing machines, stair masters on higher settings (your legs WILL be owned), and swimming (but a goodwill effort, not wading around and playing with the water noodles lol).
Cut out all dairy, your face face will shrink quickly. You have very noticable effects in 2 weeks.

Yes, very good advice! I do almost nothing but swim, play video games and do a couple push ups/sit ups a day (+ a couple of 20 pound free weights), and I am in the best shape in my entire school. Swimming will work your entire body as well as a relaxing exercise.Hurricane wrote:

It's called Atkins.
Dairy doesn't make you fat, excess calories do. Naturally, fat has a higher caloric value than carbohydrates but in the end if you're burning more than you take in, you will burn fat and lose weight (obviously you want to keep it in a reasonable level, otherwise you'll look like Nicole Ritchie).jsnipy wrote:

have sex. or do anyhting that makes your heart go faster = less fat.
Hummm very good idea...but if you stop running half-way tru the ghetto....you wont need to loose fat...your gonna be a dead man!Mitch wrote:

The best way I have found is to eat less and shit more
It works, I'm not guess at it. Its not all about calories. Different parts lose/gain differently.Hurricane wrote:

Get a mate to make 2 incisions on your lower jaw, put a straw in each side and get him to suck the fat out.
Heaps easier than running or working and your mate gets a feed at the same time
