HDD: 74GB 10k Raptor, 60GB 7200rpm
Soundcard: Creative Audigy 2 Zs (Logitech X-530 5.1 surround sound)

wtf? were you people taught your computer knowledge by a beaver? take some tests and as far as peformance goes, #2 will beat the crap out of #1. reasons:

A: core 2 duo beats FX's ass, qutie pathetically
B: the 7900GS and 7800GTX are on about the same level as far a sperformance. i think the 7900GS might even beat out the 7800GTX in a few tests.
C: you can actually put a decent amount of stuff on the hard drive. sure, its not a 10,000RPM drive, but its still a good drive.

dont start saying the sound card makes it better or the memory is better quality in #1, because thats not gonna help its performance when you are actually looking at the screen while playing a game.

Case: #1 because of the larger PSU.
Video: Neither, they are both roughly the same.
Processor: #2 because of its architecture and you could easily overclock it to 2.8GHz.
Motherboard: #1, it is just much better.
RAM: #1 because Corsair is much better brand than 'BIOSTAR'.
HDD: #1 because of the Raptor.
Sound Card: #1 because it actually has a sound card.

Overall, 1 appears to be better. but the processor isn't that great!

Edit: Yeah, run 3DM06 like Terror said.

CPU Test - 2 will win. (Unless #2 isn't overclocked)
GPU Test - it'll go either way.
Overall - 1.

I'd be surprised if these results weren't what it will be whenever you run the test. Have you overclocked the E6400? You should, if you haven't. Otherwise 1 might even win the CPU test too.
