I don't think it's got anything to do with Highway Tampa being on your machine, though I suppose it's possibly something to do with the map on EA's end.
I didn't install the map until about 3 days ago, and I had stats problems weeks before that.
At the same time, stats don't mean a great deal, just have fun playing the game without them.
