All of a sudden, Team Speak has been causing lag when I play BF2. Before, I was able to use Team Speak and play, but now I can't play BF2 with TS on because I get connection problems often. I can run X-Fire, AIM, MSN, ect. and not lag, but when I run Team Speak I lag. I can have all other programs turned off, and I still lag when running team speak.

I have searched the forums, and I didn't find anything that helped me.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I have tried that before, and nothing.

What would happen if I lowered the bandwith?

I can start up my computer, open team speak and play BF2 and lag. When I close team speak while in game, the lag goes away.

I can play BF2 when running X-Fire and stuff, without Team Speak, and not lag.

Have you read TS Manual? TS is a bandwidth hog or something because i have problems with it too but do this (its from teh TS manual located in HELP).

TeamSpeak automatically detects what recording devices your computer has. They are listed in the Settings --> Options -->Sound Devices under Device. Here you can choose your preferred device. Try by trial and error what works best for you (e.g. I found out that my headset and soundcard recording worked better than my usb webcam recording) Note that if there are only 2 options there (one being the “primary driver....”) it doesn’t matter which one you choose.
In this dialogue-box you can also see what kind of recording you are using. There are two kinds of recording: Wave and Direct Sound. The first one (WAVE) generally delivers the best sound quality and the latter (Direct Sound) the lowest latency (depening on the quality of your soundcard). The default is set to Direct Sound. When switching between those two it is sometimes needed to restart TeamSpeak (when you get an error message) in order to get it working properly.

You can set DIRECT SOUND BUFFER to LOW LATENCY that might do the trick as well...it does not affect the quality either.
Other options are open port 8767 on your Firewall and router....I believe TS uses UDP protocol may this for your Firewall configuration

No prob glad it worked. My TS is flaky too sometimes I have to switch the sound card option from Primary Device to my X-Fi SoundBlaster or vice versa, which is another work around
