They're all fuckin evil man. Why do all ME countries resort to internal violence when they don't like something. Their mentality is you took my land so I'll blow myself up; you talked shit about Muhamed so I'll blow myself up; The US is evil so I'll blow myself up; Your sunni so I'll blow myself up; Your shiite so I'll blow myself up; I can't get pussy so I'll blow myself up. Yup, they are all evil.
You know how they see it?

We can't have your oil? Have a tommahawk, You're using euros? have a tommahawk? You've got phantom WMD's? Have a tommahawk? You want Israel land? Have a tommahawk? etc etc

So they have no blame in not sending THEIR troops to Afghanistan instead of Iraq?
Yeah? thats fucking why Tony Blair is now gone, becasue of Iraq..
But I am referring to your post about Afghanistan deaths.  You blame it on the US, yet the Brits went to Iraq also instead of building up their troop strength in Afghan.
stop being so deliberately fucking obtuse, the point I was making is clear, the job is far from finished in Afghanistan. Now i'm done with this thread, alls said that needs to be said..

No blame on the terrorists I guess.
History won't see it that way.  Iraq will be defined as a monumental fuck up attributed to the US with a small paragraph detailing British involvement.

Only the nerdy academics will know the true picture, but who the hell cares what some nerd knows.

The Brits should take some blame too, what do you want, being there fighting and all and walking away blaming everything on the US or something

hell I would blame The Netherlands also even tho there where there only 6 months or so and now in Afghanistan.

A larger conflict involving the entire ME via going after the Saudis rather then what we have now would be better?  As in, better because there would be less British army deaths because POTUS controls the British Armed Forces?

You can't have it both ways...and yes, I believe that the islamics are probably targeting UK...50% of the blame is not needed...just a percentage here or there...

I'm not saying the Brits should be devoid of blame.  History has a tendency to erode detail and as such the vast majority of the blame will be levied upon the US.

I give up....  Everywhere you turn in the Middle East, we have a large number of guerilla enemies.  I was against the Iraq War from the very beginning, but even I didn't expect this to go as badly for us as it has or for us to face so many extremists.

We really need to get the fuck out of Iraq and give Saudi Arabia the finger by moving away from foreign oil.  Of course, none of this is likely to happen anytime soon....

What's sad is that if we put sanctions against Saudi Arabia we would be shooting ourselves in the foot.  If we were not so dependent on them I think we wouldn't have a problem dealing with them, forcing them to be more moderate.

I really am surprised at the none response from Americans to this thread, we have to listen to you clanging your big brass balls all the time in this forum, and yet you've fuck all to say on this matter? WHAT THE FUCK ABOUT SAUDI ARABIA?  the silence is deafening.. here are your perpetrators of 9/11!  they are killing your country men with IEDs in Iraq, and your president walks arouond holding hands with the head of the Saudi government? and you've nothing to say? un-fucking-believable..
First, let's get one thing straight. The Government of Saudi is not sponsoring terror against the U.S. unlike Iran with its Kuuds. Saudi Government is not supplying weapons and arms to a paramilitary bent on removing America from Iraq or to destabilize Iraq for their own means. We have military bases in Saudi Arabia...if we were targets of the government...then why are we NOT attacked there? Also, Bin Laden PURPOSELY chose to use Saudis to try to drive a wedge between America and Saudi Arabia but it didn't work.

So now there are a lot of Saudis fighting with the radical insurgency. Don't forget that the Iraqi insurgency is different than the Islamic jihad. In fact, as many of you know..the Iraqi insurgency is becoming  more and more involved with getting rid of the latter Islamic militants and that is where the Saudis are. Also, the Saudis that are there are not there with the support of their government, they are there on their own accord like many from surrounding countries. There is a difference and to say that the Saudi government is involved has not been proven ANYWHERE. Our government does point out who is aiding who and the government ACTUALLY arming radical insurgents are exactly the ones our military is speaking up about.

Actually, I would like to hear from guys who have been in Iraq on this one. I would like to hear first hand experience of what they heard or what kind of insurgents they were running into and if they believe that the Saudi Government is involved like Iran and Syria has been. That would be interesting and I would be willing to back off if I heard different...from people who have lived it.

There are obviously a few guys here that have been there. Imortal and Gunslinger if I am not mistaken. Of course, anyone can claim to be anyone on the net but from what they have said...they know what they are talking about.

Actually the bulk of the Islamic states in the middle east are the 'bad guys'.  unfortunately until we can make a tank that runs on compressed air or solar power, we need to make deals with the devil so we can fuel the war that will defeat islamic fascism.  it's part of a larger campaign, so it will take a lot longer than previous wars especially with the lack of support from most of the world.

and yet nearly half of all insurgents are Saudi in Iraq, as were most of those who carried out the 9/11 attacks.  THAT'S FACT! where is the out cry from america? I don't see it do you?

If you seriously believe that distinctions between 'good' and 'bad' guys is that closely related to which region of the world they are from, then you are deluding yourself.

no...you are correct.  it's not *only* the ME but wherever militant islam has taken root.  Janjaweed?  those guys are actually social workers trying to 'relocate' the disenfranchised to more fertile lands.  there are many other examples.  it's not the ME - just the religion of submission that i have a problem with.  i fart in their general direction.  pfffft.  enjoy.

Who said anything about the ME or Africa? I'm talking globally and independent of religion.
