I sometimes do. I just unlocked the assault rifle in the normal game ( forgot the gun's name). Almost no one snipes on Karkand everytime I join a server. Why is this. Is it because it's not an open place or what. I really suck at sniping if it is an open space because I think that I got used to sniping on close encounters.

I think I saw you once in a game. What server do you play on. I play on this server called 24/7 Karkand and oher ones. Do you play on that?
i used to play alot in the sfr 24/7 urban maps but now mostly on eaplay, game arena, easg and ea th.
assault rifle , u mean the G3? 20 round, but strong if u can control it.

Sniping on Karkand isn't always easy. You can get a lot of kill assists but getting the kill yourself requires good patience and accuracy. There's some absolutely beautiful spots for USMC to get to snipe the MEC, but I find it a bit lacking in return fire unless you're the type who likes to wait and surprise someone. Trying to snipe out of the body press around the hotel is usually hard with all the movement and general action going down. I really think USMC might be easier just due to inital vantage point on the Hotel where the most bodies are.
i snipe at the square. either as usmc or mec. its a great place that not many people know about, quite often when real sneaky and lucky, i don't die a single time IAR.
I probably snipe least on Karkand. Given the sheer numbers of places infantry tend to go to, I find that when I try to snipe in Karkand I get killed to often.
I rarely ever get a chance to play Karkand, and when I do, I don't snipe much. I'm mainly a Medic, occasionally AT and Spec. Ops.
I had written a big long winded thing about the best positions for a sniper on karkand, but was dragging it on.

I'm gonna be sniping alot once i get SF and unlock all the origional BF2 guns plus the G36E. I can't wait for my M95. If i'm sniping on karkand i'm usually USMC cuz the SVD is shit.
I'm gonna get beat down for this...but oh well. Just gotta say how annoying it is to see 4i5o760983764 new posts bout Karkand put up everyday...just my 2 cents. Thank you.

how can vengence have clocked up 773:06:01 total time for each kit, but has managed to get 829:27:56 as total time playing BF2 ?
surely the total time with each kit should equal the total time playing bf2 ?
or am i missing something?

no that place is too obvious. thats the first place to hunt for snipers. the trick is to be where no one expects you to be. and dont forget the claymores. playing earlier, my claymores took out 2 sneaky (but not too careful) enemy snipers who had the same idea as me. once that happens however you have to leave cause they will most likely want some revenge. so i went to an alternate spot and took them out again... lol

I've got an uber awesome place to snipe from, you can see both the plaza and the hotel from it so its just mayhem when the enemy only has those two bases.
