Graphics are fun but if you're only getting 7 FPS than its pretty much useless! So I guess I will take Gameplay over graphics.

Sure, graphics are nice, but in the end, how fun the game is is much more important. That's the reason why DiabloII/StarCraft still gets a lot of playtime, even after 5+ years.
The nicest looking game with shitty gameplay is like coating a piece of crap with pure gold or something, no matter how you look at it, it's still a piece of crap. /endingbadanalogysequencenow

Gameplay by far. There are plenty of games with crappy or outdated graphics that will keep you entertained for a long time. And like Parker said, if the graphics are awesome but gameplay is lacking you might as well be looking at a pretty picture.
The people who vote for graphics shouldn't be playing. Go watch HD movies or something.

Bothy really. I can play a game with great gameplay for a very long time, but when it has good graphics aswel it becomes a classic.

Good graphics help to compliment the game play and bad graphics can severely detract from it, but it all revolves around the in game mechanics and how well it plays.

I wouldn't play this game if everyone were wire frames and the buildings and rocks were polygons or squares. Gameplay is important but when I get 70fps with everything on high and 80fps with everything on low, it's not that big of a difference so why not up the graphics too make it look that much better.

You need a balance of both Gameplay and Graphics. However, it'd be geared more towards Gameplay.

Graphics are necessary, but gameplay is even more important. For instance, even though p0rtal uses the Source engine, its graphics aren't that great looking, but the gameplay looks fantastic! On the other hand, Crysis graphics look great.. but the gameplay just seems to be like another FEAR / DOOM etc.
Both tbh. Although gameplay comes in the first place. But nice graphics is always a good thing, obviously.

I have both.
Gameplay, the Nintendo Wii being a perfect example of gameplay (Wii) owning graphics (PS3), same allpies to PC games, the pretty but shit ones fail.
