Nice Rig! I'm getting alot of similar stuff to you.
As with adding more RAM, you do know that 680i chipsets are EXTREMELY fussy with RAM, just google it. Most people are only able to run 4 sticks at 667 and not at 800 and definately not at 1066. Beware.
Ive checked the RAM in the Bios and its running at 1066 so i think i will just stick to this type.
Also the RAM has an SLI feature thats disabled in the bios whats does it do and is it worth running?
Running 2 sticks is okay, even at 1066 and beyond but 4 sticks pose problems, especially with Corsair.
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/24345 … ddr2-help:Ok, here's the scoup:
I purchased a total of 4GB of Super Talent DDR2-800 memory. The company's model number for that RAM is T800UX2GC4 PC6400 with capable 4-4-3-8 timings.
Here is the problem. When I have two sticks installed for 2GB total, the system works just fine. I have had it powered up running Windows Vista 32bit for 2 weeks without a problem. Now this is true for both pairs of RAM, alone they have no problems and it even boots up if I pair them both in the channel B slots. The problem comes when I try to put all 4 sticks in at once. Now doing this with auto timings in the BIOS the PC posts, then immidiately after the post beep, it resets and then posts again, and then resets. It continues to do this untill I shut it down.
I have tried both pairs of memory alone and in different slots and oddly enough, I can get the system up and running stable every time. It's when I try to put in all 4 sticks that I cannot get anything running.

http://forums.slizone.com/lofiversion/i … 3992.html:I am writing this to see if others have had similar issues with their eVGA 680i MB. I have had nothing but constant crashes, freezes and other issues. Called Tech support, and eVGA was great for that. Problem is, my issue is still unresolved. My set up includes: eVGA 680i MB, QX6700 @ stock 2.66, 4GB (1GBx4 sticks) Corsair Dominator PC8500, (2x) BFG 8800GTX in SLI (of course), (1x) WD 80GB HDD & (2x) 36GB Raptors in RAID 0, and an XFi Fatal1ty ExtremeGamer Pro. I have installed all this into a Mountain Mods U2 UFO Duality case, and am using liquid cooling.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/sho … p=2297904:Hi everyone,
I´m having big problems with my rig. I have asus striker extreme and two kits of 2 gig ocz sli-ready 8500. Using last bios. First I tried to use the four modules and everything to auto, the computer was completely unstable. I forgot completely about using four gigs and I started using only 2 modules. With everything to auto the pc is able to pass memtest. But with the auto settings the memory only works to 800.
I pump the volts to 2.2 and set the memory speed to 1066, to which this memory is rated. Timmings to auto. With this configuration, the pc won´t even boot!!!
No matter what configuration I use I can`t boot to 1066 in the memory. I´ve tried with sli-memory enable and unable, but no luck. I´ve tried with only one module and the same. I doubt the four sticks are broken. So either I´m forgetting to set something in the bios or the mb is broken.
Many more examples here =
http://www.google.com.hk/search?hl=en&a … &meta=For your second question, SLI Ram is (i think) just some weird shit NVIDIA pushed out on Corsair, OCZ and some other manfactuers that thier RAM qualifies for SLI and will enhance performance when used with a system with SLI and it is supposed to not conflict with SLI, however that is just bullshit, so if you have SLI ready memory and you run SLI, give it a try and turn it on.
Hope it helps, just my 2 cents.
