no. we need to reclose china. the only people that shit helped were the rich. human rights are still shitty over there. inferior products are getting here and the people who pay are the ones at the bottom like you and me, one way or the other. my fucking dog died because of that dogfood shit.

Fuck China. Ban anything edible from China. You can trust them to make your furniture, but not your food.
we need to recognize Taiwan again.
We have robots that pick weeds, but its not cost effective yet to replace the illegals. Also alot of American farmers are growing Corn for Biofuels instead of food this season in the United States.

We already export a ton of food throughout the world. Even after figuring in biofuels, we still produce way more than enough food for ourselves. We don't need to risk our health further by eating goods from China.Harmor wrote:

fist of all...you all are talking about raw goods like corn...the food we get from china is processed: canned, packaged, etc. Second: you cant blame china for every factory error or mistake. With all the crap they make every year something is bound to go wrong. The chinese are not robots. If we didn't have china's slave labor everything would cost exponentially more. Where do you think walmart gets its crap? You all trust "US made" products when almost half of it was made in china, india, indonesia, etc. And no, we dont need to connect to taiwan. I am taiwanese and i watch taiwanese news with my dad everday. They have enough problems. Taiwan is going down the toilet. In a few more years the Chinese people will get tired of the slave labor and rebel. It's obvious. Happens everytime in history. Dont condemn an entire country/race just because they made a mistake. They're human. the united states isn't the only civilized country in the world. Though we do tend to think so...
