I imagine it would be very easy with a bear. No one's going to ask you for ID if you've got a bear.

How about you get your mum or dad to buy it much easier and people arent bothered anyway.(if youre under the leagal age of course)

I find a nice homemade drink is a mixture of bollinger champagne and stolichnaya vodka and for that cocktail its around £40 for the two drinks. (bottles rather)

K, this is my guide. Worked and is working great for me and my friends.

Yes, I'm not allowed to drink yet. So use this tacticts;

Rule number one: Never, never, never go in a shop. They will ask you how old you are and this is just shit...

Rule number two: Never, never, never try it, when your 12 years old friend is with you. You will fail.

Rule number three: Never do this alone. If you're going in a group of 4-6 persons the sellers will be scared and give you what you want.

Tactic number one: Go with your friends to a supermarket, just take what you want and say nothing. Not even a hi or something, just have the money ready (so the seller doesnt needs to give you something back) and give year. Just walk away. You're done.

Tactic number two: Let your friends wait outside, while you're goin into the supermarket. Search somebody ask ask where the alcool is. You tell them it is for your father. You should pronounce it wrong,

like bacardi=bicarda
jack daniels= jek denils and and and...

If they ask you to show your document of identification run away and try it in another supermarket.

And: Don't drink too much if you never do it. Take chewing gums or something with you. If your parents ask you, if something is wrong, just say you're tired.

Survived.
Or you could go to parties, if you have friends, and get pissed that way without the worry of buying or concealment.

If your pissed, I think your parents would realise, and most kids have no idea how to handle drink anyway, so they give themselves away *NOT* survived.....

I reakon u must have been smoking something or been paralitic to write this, cos tbh, its bollocks!

I think I will taste my first drink of alcohol (at a party) like the first day of college.  It is too risky to drink when you are so young, and I can be confident even without that shit in my system to give me a boost of confidence.

In three pages I'm fairly sure someone's mentioned something along the lines of what I've written, but sellers aren't supposed to sell alcohol to minors at all, this includes "buying for your Dad". It will not work at all, and even if they did believe you they're still not able by law to sell you anything. It's like "How to fail at attempting to buy booze when underage."

Also I'm not entirely sure if this is the case elsewhere, but in New Zealand Supermarkets don't stock hard liquor, they're restricted to a certain percentage, 15% I think. I doubt this is the same everywhere of course.

Tactic #1 is essensially good, but somewhat lacking. The key is you need to took like you know what you're doing and have done so before. Having correct change, acting oddly closed when buying alcohol WILL GENERALY GET YOU CAUGHT! Say hi to the cashier, act completely mnormal, don't have exactly the right change, no-one does that! To me that looks instantly suspicious. Any success you have had from this tactic would be because of some bored supermarket worker, (all of them,) was not bothered to call you out on it.

Another point, going into a shop in a group of underage people is hardly intimidating to a liquor shop owner. Liquor stores are often targeted for robberies so they have systems in place such as silent alarms if things get out of hand. A group of underage people should not scare them enough to risk getting a hefty fine from the cops for supplying alcohol to minors.

The best way to get booze when underage is to just get an ignorant lazy shop assistant with no balls - most of them - to serve you. I generally find that unless it's a licenced premises, it's pretty much all of them, (unless there is store policy. At the place I work ID is asked of EVERYONE buying alcohol, including 80 year-old men with their bottles of Scrumpy. Hilarious, but ridiculous.) I saw a program on TV a while ago called "Target". It's basicly undercover findings of how stores or services run themselves. They targeted liquor and tobacco outfits one time and most places didn't even check the ID of a 14 year old they sent in to buy alcohol. It's not systems or tactics, it's just luck.

I'm 19, turning 20 next week and I'm still always asked for ID, (legal drinking age in NZ is 18.) My mates say I look 17, or if I don't shave for a week, 16, (you heard me.) Kind of sucks how my mate who's a few months younger can pass as 25.
I've worked in supermarkets, been targeted in a sting by police, (but the stupid bastards used a friend of mine so I caught it easially,) and currently work one day a week in the Beer & Wine section of a supermarket to make sure I have beer money for the rest of the week. Sorry to say Ersg that your guide is somewhat lacking. Like I said, any success you have had from it would be because of the luck of getting a lazy-arsed cashier, which accounts for probably 90% of all cashiers.

However I found no problem with Rule #2. That was pretty watertight.

All right firstly the guide is complete and utter bullshit, (especially if you live Australia).

Second what the fuck is a chav?

Third: I have been drinking since the age of 6, yes SIX and I never bought alcohol underage, because most was not only known by my parents but also supplied. When I was younger, I obviously didn't drink that much, a glass of sherry or half a glass of wine with or after dinner was about it. I had tried beer when I was like 9-10 and really didn't like it much at all and didn't acquire the taste until about 17.
My point is underage drinking is not bad, its irresponsible drinking of any age that is a problem and those that don't drink until they are old enough and have no idea of their limits and the effects alcohol has on them are just of not a bigger problem then those that have a couple of beers at 14. I have never had a hang over, have never passed out and have only thrown up twice due to alcohol and I'm sure I could and have drunk more then most of you.

Honestly, wtf mate? A pint won't kill you. I've been drinking alcohol since I was twelve and I turned out just fine. I don't go around mugging people, don't dress in burberry and graduated top of my year in high school 1 month ago.

I know England has some strict rules when it comes to underage drinking but at least give it a try. Like someone said, uncles are usually the ones that like to hand you a beer. At first you probably won't like the taste because you're used to sweet crap like cola and other fizzy drinks. But in time you'll learn to appreciate and enjoy beer. There's a reason why it's so popular.

Underage drinking can be very bad, certainly if you're still growing.
