I haven't had a computer to game on since the beginning of this year.

For a time I didn't miss it. But now I am starting to miss it. I miss being able to use photoshop, most of all.

Since I haven't been in the computer market for 7 months, I don't really know about the technology thats out now. I don't know what goes good with what, etc.

Can I get some advice on a good gaming/photoshop rig for like... $1500?

If he's doing photoshop and gaming, wouldn't a Q6600 be more sufficient? Especially if OCing with a good heatsink.

Wow, that's a great system for not much money. I get 100 fps on BF2 on high settings with my E6600 and 8800GTS. Substituting those would save about $300, but the q6600/8800GTX is probably more future-proof.
