so my cusin told me a way to put pics on a phone is to text a messae to ur e-mail and then respond w/ a message w/ the pics in the message, (i still haven't figuredout how to do that). well i sent the e-mail to my Sprint cell phone about an hour ago and still hasn't shown up on my phone, also i put the pics in an attachment. so if anyone has any ideas on how to get the message i sent mysef w/ the pics and how to open and save the attachments would be greatly appreciated also if you can tell me how to put a pic in webmail (earthlink) and send it that would also help. thanks in advance

If you never received the email then I guess you haven't set your email account up properly on your phone.

Why not just use a data cable.  Unless you have unlimited data plan, the size of the pic as the attachment could cost you a pretty penny to send to your phone.  But I don't have a clue on how to make it work, might not for your phone carrier.

what i've done is get one of those adapters for my microSD card, but everytime i put pics on the card and try to look at them on my phone they won't show up and then i plug the card back into the adapter and the pics are gone. but the catch is i can put music on my phone. go figure

My sister had a simular situation.  It was because her phone locks out transferring photos.  Forgot what the whole stupid situation is.  What would help to diagnose the problem is phone model.
