When i try to start up my computer, i get this error message

Can you boot in safe mode?

Your OS install is probably fucked. You might be able to get away with some boot.ini fixes, but a reinstall is what's most likely to end up happening now. You should be able to extract data from that drive by plugging it into a different system, I'd advise you do that then reinstall. It'll probably work out much quicker than examining it and trying to fix it and it's probably what you'll end up doing anyway.
