i want one but the only thing holding me back is the dust. for those of you that have this case, is dust a problem for you?
I guess this doesn't apply to your question, but I' giving my 2 cents anyways. I, personally have a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case, it has great air flow, a nice side window, stylistic curves and lighting, plenty of room, and is sealed tighter than Hilary Clinton's snatch. I have very minimal dust when i actually get in there to clean.
I have an Antec Nine hundred, its good and dust hasn't been a problem for me. The only dust I have is on the outside and my room is generally dusty. Its a nice case, but you may want to find a case a little bigger, it can be a little cramped.
It offers a good airflow though tempretures in my case are usually no higher than; CPU:29°C, GPU:60°C, System:30°C.

Thats why i chose the P180b. Air filters on the front vents, keeps most of the dust out for me.
It sucks in loads of dust, but then throws it all out the back so the insides of mine are sparkly and clean
It's really not a problem at all, you get a little build up on the grills on the front which takes a quick hand swipe to knock off and thats it, the inside has so much air being pulled out of it by the vent fans the dust goes with it so it never really gets to settle on anything, least it hasn't in mine.

I have an Antec 900, and while it takes in Massive amounts of air, most of it seems to stick to the front "grill" if you call it rather then going inside.
I opened it up about a week ago and sprayed it out with some compressed air, I was surprised at how barely any dust came out when I hadn't Sprayed it out since like January..
It sits on the floor in my fairly dusty room..

thanks guys
I just had some on the side of the case before. Quick spray of compressed air, it's gone.
Generally? I don't see much.

Same for me, but mine dust seems to get on the grill in front of the fans in the drive bays. Other than that, not a whole lot.Poseidon wrote:

i have one. not near as much as you would think it would collect. maybe a little on the grills and fan blades but that it.
I got a Thermaltake Kandalf, and dust is also pretty much zero.<SS>SonderKommando wrote:

I have a Shark, which is similar to the 900 in the sense that it has a grill on the side, and I find that it collects very little dust. At least, no more dust then my friend's perspex-sided case.
They're are various filters you can purchase to mimimize dust inside your case, however just by opening it up and using canned air to blow it out once or twice a week is the best way to keep your case dust free.
