Calling all US veterans on this board, regardless of political leanings.

votevets.org has made a petition going out to Bush to come clean with everything Tillman related and give some real answers. The cynic in me says it won't happen anyways, but it doesn't hurt to try.

the dude was shot in the forehead with 3 rounds at close range. the arrogance of lying to his family and the nation to make the war effort and this poster boy's death look heroic is dispicable. and without that transparency and honesty at the top (where it obviously originated due to their propaganda efforts), such lies could be reported to yet others who's loved one died wrongfully in Iraq.

I disagree. Any time any member of an armed service is KIA by friendly fire, the information needs to be completely honest and openly available.
