Yes, there is! My friend bought one, it was dam well cool, he was showing it me one day. If he moved out of view, the camera would track him. Also, there was this program that put "skins" over him, for example, a bear skin would put an animated bear over his image and it would copy his actions. If his mouth moved, the bears mouth moved etc.

I was pretty fuckin impressed.

Dunno the name though

Yup, I played with one the other day, if you move (not uber fast though) it'll move the camera or lens to follow you.

That's probably it, but I think it also depends on the camera. Like I said, I believe it causes the lens to move around... which would require your camera to have a motor on the lens for motion.

Which has face tracking, the face overlay animation software stuff and is generally amazing!

I've said it... twice now, I'll say it again. Unless the camera has motors in it to move the lens around, it won't work.

I know My Logitech cam has face tracking but I kinda expected it to have that when I payed £50 for it new which was about 2 years ago.
