I feel like an idiot for asking but im just making sure that you need to have 2 DIMMs of the same brand if you want to run them in DDR mode

They are 2 Sticks of PC2700 DDR333 512MB DIMMs (im building a system from my old spares) One is the brand elixer and the other is un-named. The thing that is of concern is that the Elixer DIMM has chips on both sides of the DIMM, while the un-named only has chips on 1 side of the DIMMKing_County_Downy wrote:
