Does anybody recommend a good heatsink? I had a Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX, but as most people here know, it died on me. I'm looking for one that's small and very easy to install and good for OCing.

Both of those coolers are extremely effective, and are great if you want to overclock.
The screw type mounts almost guarantee you will get proper contact with the CPU, but you have to remove the motherboard (totally worth it).

Hehe...he...he. A Freezer7Pro I'd recommend. They're both quiet and cheap. Mine have worked for about thre and a half year now. I've cleaned it once, and it's as silent as when I got it. It can easily cool a Prescott core running at 4.2GHz, so it'd work well for any C2D's too. (Yes, it's the same socket.) I can have it on Low to medium when playing on my Ovre3clocked Prescott 3GHz. Took it from 3GHz to 3.6.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

After seeing somebody OC'ed his Q6600 to 3.4 and kept it under 30c, I'm going to go with this one.
