Since I've actually been through puberty now, I have to shave regularly.
I usually use shaving foam and a gillette Mach 3, but I just tried some King of Shaves Shaving Gel.

That stuff is win. It's so smooth, and doesn't even feel like I've had a shave! (Except all the stubble's gone obviously)

But I'm thinking of getting an electric razor since I'm getting bored of shaving every day, but the last one I tried was really harsh and made my face sting (i'm just sooo sensitive!)

Any real men got any suggestions?

An electric one wont (usually) get such a close shave as the manual ones. But it is better if you are lazy.

Put some milk on your face and let the cat lick it off.

Actually, shave in the shower, with hot warm water, it'll open up your pores.  Or use an electric shaver just after or in the shower with hot water running.

Deal with electric shavers(according to mines manual ) is they need a wear in period on your face, They will be harsh on you face until your face gets used to it, was that way with me, now its fine, and does a very good job, I cant say its better then regular razor, as ive never used a razor, electric only

I use generic shave gel and crappy disposable razors. Not because i'm poor, but because i want to keep stubble there. Everyone is different. Dry shaves work better for that, but that's just unworkable.

Though to do things like sideburns, it's better to do it dry as you have more control. Well, dunno about you guys, but I do the thin/pointed sideburns.

The major bonus to an electric (other than facilitating alziness hehe  j/k) is that one may put a gaurd on it, and maintain a "stubble", "five o'clock shadow" all that rot.  Electrics tend to eat on your face more than a razor, so if you do have sensative skin, try a cheaper electric just to see if its gonna be a cheese grater to your face.  Second point...they will heat up your skin, causing dryness...use a good aftershave...that should help there lots...

good luck

shave in the shower with a normal razor, kills 2 birds in 1 stone and you don't need to bother with cream. do not attempt it with an electric razor though as thats just stupid.

gillette fusion > all others.

I used to use razors, but even at 25, my neck still gets zits after I shave with a blade

I use water and disposable razors and it burns a little for like 2 hours but likely god invented Ibuprofen if it gets too annoying.  I don't shave often though.

I use some cheaqp diposible razors and gillette shaving cream.

I have never used a electric one and don't really think i ever will, just an excuse to spend more money on man products.

I grow out until I have a beard similiar to that of the Unibomber and then I trim it off with electric clippers. have done so for the past 3 years.  haven't touched a razor since.  my skin is definitely happier.  I'm 25 and still get carded.

If I shave with an electric (1) I tear my face to shit, and (2) I don't even look like I've shaved, for sure not by noon.

I use a Fusion (5 bullshit blades) in a hot shower with Edge Ultra Sensitive Gel.

I'm 40 and I hate shaving as much today as I did when I was 16. I'm always looking for better shaving cream, so I'll try King of Shaves and if anyone else has a good one I'll go for that too. Shaving is the suck.
