Allright tell me which Mod has the worst Fanboys?


Personally i Think it's the Poe2 lovers, To me it's just a reskinned vanilla, I tried telling them that but they won't listen. I know some of you are gonna say PR but personally i have never met a PR player that thought PR was the end all mod for Bf2, Cant say the same for Poe2 fanboys...

Definitely PR....

Sandbox has plenty of fanboys, but the fact that its not a very competitive game makes it hard to compare them to the others. Its like a fun side game, and can hardly be a substitute.

I just really haven't seen many PoE fanboys. It doesn't seem to be trying to vastly revolutionize gameplay,  just give you some new cool shit...

Ive never seen any other community on a whole spend as much time boasting about how long its been since they last played vBF2. They just seem to look at the arcade shooter as lower class, rather then just another genera.

Then again PR is probably the best mod up there too, so the fanboys are semi justified.

Ever play on any German Poe2 server? I said that this sucks it's just vanilla with a new coat and i got first harassed then kicked by user vote. Ever been kicked from a PR server for not liking the Mod the first time you played it?

POE2 without a doubt, it has 2 servers with a population over 5 people last time I checked, and the admins kicked and harassed a guy who just wanted to point out it sucked.  Dont see what others see in POE2 its horrible, a badly reskinned BF2, the graphics make my eyes bleed from their pure blandness, BF2 on low looks better then POE2 on high, yet people keep going on about it.  Ill play POE on Battlefield Vietnam again before reinstalling that thing.  Atleast in PR people attempt to help you, sometimes you'll get"go read the manual noob" but if you get in a squad you can really have a conversation.

Yeah but were you acting all douchey and complaining about how much better PR is?

PoE wasn't meant to be anything more then "vanilla with a new coat"....but it has one pimp ass coat.
Its simply new armies, new weapons, new vehichles,and new game modes.

Its still an arcade shooter at heart, the only reason PR has such vastly different game play is because its an entirely different style of game.
People who aren't familiar with PR typically say they dont see the difference between regular BF2, aside from loosing much of the hud...This is because PR is about changing the rules to change the gameplay, PoE is closer to being more content for the same game...nothing wrong with that.

This is why PR has the biggest fan boys, because most of you refuse that there are simply different games for different preferences.

That may be true, I see the difference between PR and Vanilla, but POE2 promised so much and delivered less then plesant results.  If you compare POE 1 vs POE 2 youd see a huge difference in quality and time spent, POE2 was a massive let down, yet people hype it up...  Thats why POE2 gets my vote, even though im a PR fanboy, their the second most annoying.
