On my parents computer their mobo went bad so i got new mobo, and cpu. i reinstalled everything back into case exactly the same. when i turned it on BIOS came up and i entered in settings(time, date) and then clicked save and exit and then i came up to blue screen with windows error code 0x0000007b. what do i do?
You probably just need to reformat and re-install.
But, what went wrong with the previous mobo? There is a small chance that it may have damaged the HDD. Do a re-install first, and if it still doesn't work, try a different/new HDD.

Verify that you see your hard drive(s) in your bios. Also make sure you have the proper boot order.

if you switched motherboards to one with a different chipset you really need to do a format and reinstall.
