How should I get promoted to 3 star. I don't expect to ever become 4 star and I don't want to get wiped on purpose to have fun climbing the ranks again so what should I do tonight when I have the hours for 3 star? I was thinking on jet jihad but samtheman already did it. What hasnt been done yet?

get a commander to drop a vehicle next to a high building (one of the hotels) you jump in the car as it parachutes down and lands on someone??? i dont think that has been done

Or get in a jet while being Spec Ops, go very high, then press E.
Take your C-4 and try to blow an ennemy chopper while falling. OR even better try to blow an ennemy jet while falling.

Projectile Vehicle: find an FF off server, make a humvee/vodnik into a rocket with C4. you will need a mate to drive, then when you have found the lucky target, detonate the C4 while you're sat in the rear to project the vehicle rapidly towards the enemy.

Well yes but you still need to earn a point in some way in order to get the promotion. Now what I could do is I could do everything you guys suggested. All that I would eed to do is fuck with the rank system (done it before) and leave the server right after pomoting before the round ends and go to a new server and try something else.I did this and got awarded major 8 times. I am going to an FF=off wake server and I have a few options when I get there.
1. Jihad a J10 in takeoff
2. Put C4 at the end of the runway so when J10's think they're safe taking off BOOOOOOMMMM BBIIAATTTCCHHHH
3. Run over all the like 10 noobs waiting for j10.
4. Shoot a J10 down with an AT rocket.
5. Get in a jeep and use c4 from a clan mate to propel myself at all the thousands of newbies that wait for the jet.
6. Run someone over with a DPV on the carrier.
Whatever gets the most votes I will do just post back with a number as your choice but choose quickly because I will have it by about 5 or 6 (the hours that is).

My vote, that's always fun. But you really need to kill more than 5 persons while doing it3. Run over all the like 10 noobs waiting for j10.
