How to kill a J10 with the chopper's TV missile?

As a long time chopper whore, I have long been annoyed by the presence of jets, lurking around as vultures looking for food.
As time passed, experienced jet whores grew larger in number, and as a result I had a more serious challenge in the air. This made me fight them more as well, and there's nothing more satisfying to me than kill a jet with the TV missile.

While not rarely the missiles pass right through the cockpit, I find it significantly easier to TV any jet but the J-10. It is smaller than the other jets and its higher maneuverability makes it more difficult to TV from behind, but what is truly annoying and rather amusing is that an incredible amount of the missiles go through it when the missile is fired against a J10 coming head-on. No other jet is as impervious as the J10 coming from 12 o'clock.

Anyone has hints on that?

As vehicle whore myself (includes chopper whore ), I shoot down jets with TV-missiles all the time. And jep, you're right: every single jet is easy to take down with TV-missiles and AA missiles when aimed properly except the J10 (and sometimes the F18). From my experience I learned that aiming at the air intake of a j10 usually does the job for me. As for AA missiles: MG until the j10 starts to evade, lock and spam your missiles .

I try to TV jets all the time, but you have to hit that cockpit straight on.
I love using the regular missiles too. I've gotten 2-3 Jet kills like that. Firing a few at a jet that slowed down to gun me, but got smoked instead.

Always good for a laugh.

I have probably 2-3 kills with hydra against flying jets, but I lost count on how many I TV'd down.
Being killed by hydras in a jet is just humiliating.

You have to take the latency of your computer into consideration.
It's hard to explain, but the short version:
When you shoot the missile, the information that you shot it will have to travel to the server. When it gets there, the target you were shooting at will already be in a different location.
Depending on your ping and the speed of your target, the difference can be from a few inches(tanks) up to a couple yards(jets).

This order makes no sense.

J-10 > F-18 > MiG-29 > F-35B > Su-30 > F-15 > Su-34

Man I watched that vid, then watched "The Most Epic Tv Missile Vid Ever Created" hoping it was a different vid. It wasn't. Boo. J 10's are hard to hit, mainly because their hitbox is miniscule compared to other jets. Find that topic about the actual size of the different jet's hitboxes.(http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=79147) That will do you more good than any one of us trying to explain it. I always aim below and slightly behind. If you aim right at it, you'll see the inside of the cockpit but get no kill. Then you will bitch to the pilot and get kicked for for typing the cock in cockpit, haha.

Its funny that you say the J10 is highly maneuverable because this guide (http://wiki.bf2s.com/tactical-guides/dogfighting) says different. I guess thats just his opinion of course. But I do agree any type of missles fired at a J10 just seem slip right off it. It must have a really small hit box or something. Can any one explain?

There... explained...Altough the j10 responds slower than a lot of jets, it turns faster. Maybe that's what he's getting at, IDK.

Just look at the f35. That's why chopper vids shooting down f35's impress me about as much as paris hilton's last album.
