I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, and for some reason, the handle is permanently off center. Before, it was maybe one or two degrees off, and I could live with that. But recently, it's becoming more and more off center. It is now about 10 degrees off center, and it's impossible to fly with.

If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think the correct answer is to buy a new one.

go to your control panel and click on game controllers, then select your the name of your joystick click on properties, then the settings tab and click calibrate and the calibration wizard pops up. Always works for me.

Nah it's all good, you just have to keep unpluging it and then plugging it in again.

In windows go to you rcontroll panel and then game controlers icon, then click properties it ahoulf show you all the alignments for everythign on the stick (This will only be here if you have the drivers installed AFAIK). After unplugging and repluggin it should center its self, I think I have had to unplug it abput 23 times before it has started working again but dont give up.

Edit: aww beaten to it

Had the same issue with my attack 3, I tried all the fancy tools for the joystick and clabration and unplugging and all that and I even took it apart to see if I could actually see what the problem was, no result.  Just buy a new one, I did after a year of cruddy performence, and switched over to Saitek, never had a problem since.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago, and I would go through the same routine, but i had the warranty and i exchanged it for a new one when i got tired of the routine of unpluggin and pluggin it back in, now after another couple of months its happening to this one too!!!

It just happens to logitec joysticks, they are pretty cheap.

same with my attack 3, can almost never fly with it. cant keep that dam plane horizontal always pitches to the right and fast as soon as i let it go. try newer drivers, didn't work. reinstalling drivers, works! for about 5 minutes...

I'll try the unplugging and replugging.

You post this an hour after you make the thread, and you made the thread at 4AM GMT Time. Yeah, way to go!

Anyway, you need to recalibrate. I think someone wrote a guide about Logitech re-calibration here. Take a trip to the Search button! (I love that place)

The logitech joysticks are notorious for un-calibrating themselves after a few months use. Its a software glitch that can be found through google, and there is a fix for it, a little app you can download from somewhere. Not that you deserve this hint after your second post.
