k, every one knows that people like us are going to be given 2,000 global points, and one gold star right? well when i was informed this (yesterday) my global points were at 49,000, and now i have 51,000, but it doesnt show my new rank, im still at master sergeant...

is any one elf having this same probleme?
or does any one know why my stats arnt updating?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

You either need to join a ranked server, spawn and get at least 1 point, like it is for all other point/award related things like these.
(E.g. you can get global tactical weaponry usage points on vanilla BF2 maps (and booster pack maps) with the F2000 unlock, but you can only get the badges on SF maps. Spawning and getting one point will work, if you've already got enough global points.)

Or, less likely, those 2,000 points simply won't count towards getting a new rank.
After all, it would give someone the rank of Lance Corporal immediately, if he has started to play during the time of outage with a fresh account.
