If it is overheating, yes, it will. But do all the other things first. Then check your CPU and GPU temps. However, I think you'd get more issues if it were an overheating problem.

Hmm... do you have a spare mouse with a ps2 connector?

USB can cause this kind of issue occasionally - would be worth trying a mouse with ps2 - again just in-case.

k I'm going to sleep, tomorrow i'll get all my drivers updated, and post my results.

I experienced similar problems with my video card, i had a friend install it for me, except the didn't push it in all the way and it had a shitty connection.........  my computer would run fine, but once i would run bf2 the computer would crash after 45 minutes or so and then progressively sooner and sooner until it was like 5 minutes of bf2. Fixed the video card connection, and then cleaned it vacuum and air and added an extra fan and its been working great
