Well today i was on vent with some people i hang out with then outta no where we start talking about politics. This leads to a very serious conversation which get very intense so were talking about bush and his faults and why my friends father voted for bush ETC. Then i literally bring up facts and links. that prove bush is stupid,ETC (My opinion i reserve the right to use it k thx bye) That hes nothing but lied the facts are right in front of his face but he still denies it. i dont get it. (BTW he's republican or something) people are just addicts and they dont wanna admit there wrong and sorts or is it where everyone has there own opinion i know but still its fun to argue politics.

Ideology.

I'm wondering what your point to this topic is though, democratic political systems mean argument.

So why would it be true you can't argue it if that is part of what the damn system is based on?
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.

It is possible to argue politics, but it would appear the problem lies in the words you use. When you use words like "stupid" "lied", etc. you only inflame those who support the person you are talking about. If you want to point out mistakes, poor speaking abilities, etc, then you will go farther in your debate than throwing around invectives that serve no purpose other than to anger the other side.

That is what prevents you from arguing politics.

Additionally--and no offense here--it takes quite a while to become astute enough in the workings of politics to develop your own arguments and not just parrot the arguments of parents/relatives/others who vote. I recommend giving yourself several voting cycles of observation, analysis, and introspection on your vote(s) before you start engaging others in political arguments/discussion.
