Has anyone seen this and does anyone think it will help Huckabee in the polls?

Personally I thought the ad was pretty funny.

LOL, it might. I don't know though, it'd be interesting to see him have a real chance.

I think this'll pull in some votes from the idiot redneck 18 year olds that just got the right to vote, and still think Chuck Norris jokes are funny.

I don't think it'll do much for him in the long run.

I asked discussion questions. If you dont feel it deserves to be here, feel free to move it.

We'll see where it goes.

It should get him lots of publicity, which is always good, but whether it will be good or not we'll have to see. He may get the same people who were planning on voting for Colbert to vote for him.

I have seen it, not sure if it will help in the polls, and yes . . . it is funny.

I just mailed you a replacement space bar, I noticed how it gave out in the last statement. Let me know if it fits alright.

I actually think that was a good move.  Huckabee would be a great contender for president (he was a great governor, I know).  He really knows how to appeal to the public and is a good speak/debater.
Besides, any candidate who can not only hold his own against Steven Colbert but simultaneously make friends with him has to someone to seriously look at.

Edit: Yes, I thought the add was funny.

Just because you have heard all the Chuck Norris jokes on the Interwebz doesn't mean everyone else has. He didn't make this necessarily to be funny, or to "win over" the Internet people voting for Ron Paul. He specifically said he made this not to show all his political standpoints, but to get people thinking "who is this Huckabee guy and why does Chuck Norris support him?", since he is not very well known yet (preliminary exposure, basically). He is beginning to run more of the traditional TV ads like this in Iowa.

And, as a side note, before you all say he is a Zionist because he is a Christian and used to be a Baptist minister, look at where he stands on things. Yes, most of them are some of the basic Judeo-Christian values and principles. Whether or not you follow the same religion as him (or any religion, for that matter), you should look at these things objectively. Don't just have your mind made up before you hear where he stands on all issues of concern to you. These principles are genuinely good things, which make for a good governmental system, which makes a good, safe, free country to live in. He does not plan to institute a U.S. Church, or force religion on anyone (both of which are Constitutionally forbidden, and would send the ACLU through the roof). I say this because all too often people don't judge politicians on where they stand and what they plan on getting done. We're in a time where we need a strong, decisive leader, who is more concerned with the best interests of the country rather than their political party. He is a real conservative who is truly looking out for the good of our country.

I just realised how much better Stig quotes are from Top Gear, I wonder if there's a site that has them all. I think Top Gear have been doing Stig quotes since before the Chuck Norris shit (but I remember it started off with Vin Diesel)

I dunno lol

Also, Chuck is waay to right wing for anyone but...well it is the US. Your moderate right wing parties are our BNP.

Aside from Huckabee's evolution issues, he's a decent candidate.  The problem is...  his delivery of jokes is worse than Pauly Shore.

As someone else said, the Chuck Norris facts meme is officially dead.
