Fuck, this is like the guns kill people argument. Guns don't kill people, I've never seen a gun grow little gun legs, walk up to a person, pull it's own trigger and kill a human. Never heard of a gun doing what I described above.

So maybe it's people who kill/hurt/maim/rape other people. MAYBE it has always been like that. MAYBE, just fucking maybe, it comes down to irresponsible parents.
