BF2S Forums Best Game Ending?

I dunno, I don't actually remember a memorable game ending where I was like "wtf wao"

I suppose the original CoD ending level was sick. Assaulting the Reichstag etc.. killing off the last hardcore defenders of Nazi Germany. I've yet to see how CoD4 ties up. I loved the ending of the first level though. 

I suppose the GTA games have had decent endings/last missions. MGS3, the Shagohod bit at the end was wicked. As was killing loads of MG:Ray's towards the end of MGS2.

What else...

Manhunt! Awesome last couple of levels and what a way to execute the main guy at the end.

Throughout the game we thought that the main character 'snake' was Solid Snake from the previous two Metal Gear Solid's.  However it was actually his father Big Boss.  Not to mention the rest of it.  Check the wikipedia page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MGS3#Story.

1.Duke nukem 3d :it had 3 endings for each episode, and I was like 12 when I ended it so the over macho endings were "cool"
2.Halo series :all three of em, they all felt intense and Halo 3 finally gave some closure .
3. Cod 4: the characters really let you get the feel for them, I was sad when the usa char died of radiation .

more seriously, Metal Gear Solid 3 was pretty fucking great, Final fantasy 6 or 7 were good. not too unexpected, but good. half-life 2's just caught me totally off guard and was like "OH GOD IT'S OVER? WHY NOW!!!!"

I'm sorry but as much as I love halo, both the game and books, halo 3 completley fell short of my expectations.  I was very much let down.

The ending of the campaigns in C & C Generals are sweet. I recall distinctly the Chinese one. And the "ending" movie in GT4 is somewhat rewarding.
