8800 GTS G92 review

Play.com had it on pre order, might still be there for £199, which makes it, what £20 more than a GT. If that price turns out to be right then the issue of no GT's is pretty much mute, you can buy a stock GTS for the same price as a factory OC GT and then go on to do it yourself if you feel the need.

It says it costs about $50-100 more. I saw this the other day and I'm still going to get a 8800GT ASAP. The PSU requirements on load seem far too much for my little 500W and if the $50-100 translates to £25-50 more it wouldn't be the best price/performance on offer.

Play had it preorder for £199.99 reduced from £230. Yes I preorder and got another £5 off with voucher and £8 back with quidco . The link was only up for a couple of hours.

hm, seems like 8800GTS release is delayed again, no german hardware shop offers them so far, and yes, us germans get the newest shit hardware at first mostly

Btw, atm only Asus offers a 8800GT in stock, all other brands cant supply atm because Nvidia stopped producing until the 8800GTS is aviable and sold multiple times. Clever marketing again Nvidia, very clever.

well, Nivida is going to push the GTX sales again, like they´ve done it with upcoming releases every time before.

again Price drop for 8800GTX @ alternate.de

The G92 8800GTS 512MB arent listed anymore...

@Panzer: yeah, geizhals.at got them listed, but the stores dont have any in stock and only offer XFX cards so far...

But honestly, if a GTX is only 390€ now, why the hell should anybody go for a 8800GTS 512MB which is 349€
