Hint: You could write about China's food exporting industry (and not just limited to humans, *cough* Spring 2007 pet food crisis *cough* and still be on-topic with your paper.
There are so many things you could look at.
-Can be hazardous to health.
-Can be hazardous to the environment, e.g. pesticides, insecticides can seep into surrounding environment and upset natural habitats.
-Inorganic.
These are few examples but google it and you should find some guidance points.

A friend of mine has a friend who was in a wheel chair and had major joint problems and also drinks Diet pop, Long story short, He stopped drinknig Diet pop and was out of a wheel chair and had no joint problems, True story.
Every see anyone lose weight from drinking Diet drinks? The surgar free additives cause weight gain around the mid section areas, pretty sad. I think its banned in Canada
