BF2S Forums Most embarrasing thing that's happened to you?

The most inberrasing thing was being shocked paddled, i know, its only happened to me..

Why did you explicitly say Mashtuur in the brackets?
Have you been teleported there from a different map?
Now that would really be quite some glitch!

Got tved while flying in a jet. Both choppers were squaring up, I was shooting enemy and pulled away not to ram and caught a tv heading towards the other chopper. Guy played it off like he meant to do it. :\

And I've been killed by tanks two or three times while going to bomb them.

I chucked a grenade at someone at point blank while he did the same thing.

Somehow, we both died immediately despite being on full health.

My most embarrassing moment in BF2 was when I was on trial with OL I was in a squad of 4 with all OL players and we were just along that building where those two ladders are to the roof were just under people spawn and, well we were at front of that and there was like 7 enemies around the flag inside the brown bag fence thing and then I said over VoIP "I'll get 'em" so I go to throw a grenade but it hits one of those signs sticking out of the building and lands back under my squads feet then we all die from me, and I got kicked for excessive team killing because I killed 4 team mates at once... Was so embarrassing..

One time on Ghost Town.. *shudder*

We were Spetz and had all the flags. Our T90, BTR-90 and Tunguska were all sitting on the SAS bridge, making sure nobody left the uncap (the server allowed uncap attack). I was Engineer, and was sitting in the 2nd sead of the Tunguska to keep it and the other Armour alive with my trusty wrench.

I'd also thrown down a few AT mines on the bridge between our armour in case anybody made a mad dash for freedom. That was where i went wrong.

A few minutes of happy repairing later, a Blackhawk tried to fly overhead. It was shot down (probably by the very AA tank i was sitting in), and the wreckage fell down on to of us all, and onto my mine.

*BOOM*

1 dead tank, 1 dead APC, 1 dead AA tank, 1 dead bridge, and several dead nearby friendly soldiers.

I had singlehandedly taken out my teams entire armour reserves in on go, and gotten a lot of teamkills at the same time.

Needless to say, i felt a bit sheepish, and spent the rest of the round apologising to my shellshocked team.

Gun the buggers down instead. Dishonourable, but effective.

Taking out three infantry and a tank, down to 3 bars health- then running for the medic bags that are "Right frikking there"
only to fall off a 2 foot ledge an "no more"

All time worst though...

I was playing Oman like a week after I bought BF2...[dream sequence]
I was on the MEC side,  raping the hell out of the carrier (ok, so I was just trying to stay alive, lol), and ended up getting dead;
then got teamswitched without realizing it..
I joined a squad leader who was in the SU and spawned in the co pilot seat just as we were nearing the carrier-
I launch my laser guided without waiting for a lock and hit a loaded blackhawk for a whopping 4 TK's and the kick.

Apparently the US had stolen the SU and he was going home for repairs or ammo... but I spawned in an SU and figured I was MEC anyway.


Also, getting your chopper shot down by multiple M95's  - I was at half health and had to fly all the way across ghost town to get repairs.. all I heard on the way back was "tink- tink- tink"
It only took about 6 "tinks" to blow the thing up.

Getting shot down and your wreckage landing on your teammates for multiple TK's is pretty embarrassing, but is usually negated when all those jagoffs hit the punish button
