Because of this shit system called Capitalism, run and invented by the American pig dogs. And they are Stupid Pig Dogs now.
Money is killing us.
Money is killing us.
Well there was an initial upset when they started exploding.
Since then, no one has really bitched at all. It seems they're trying to see how high they can set them sometimes..

I lol'd at the person blaming the USA.
It's called OPEC. OPEC are greedy. So are oil companies. They want more money.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.

Capitalism > USA > OPEC > Oil Companies > Money.
Do you even know what does the symbol on your avatar means at least?

Oligopoly, collusion, cartels and market shares. It's got stuff to do with economics in short.
Did You exspect to get some cheap Iraqi oil? You thought wrong. Oil control = high prices.

Expect the prices to go up on December 19th do to the holiday.
we dont sell our oil.... we buy it from other people in barrels, then it goes to refineries, thats where the price of gas goes up because good old georgie porgie bush like to make sure all the oil gets bottlenecked at the refineries so that there is a "shortage" of refined oil and gases. If we opened up more refineries the price of gas would drop almost instantly, but then bush and mobil and exxon wouldnt make as much money
*Shakes fists at OPEC and Hugo Chavez* At least us Canucks got our oilsands if the shit really hit the fan.
Exactly, The refineries are aging and not being able to keep up efficiency to produce the oil we demand. Some companies are trying to make an effort, but Exxon and their shitty policies refuse to do anything.Locoloki wrote:

Im happy with $2.89 a gallon around me
OPEC + State and Federal Taxes (For the US at least)
Averages around $0.30 a gallon for us.
Averages around $0.30 a gallon for us.
You could always switch to one of these
it was 1.08$/L 2day, was 1.19$ few days ago.... they say its going to be at 1.50$/L in the midle of the winter!
Once it goes up, it will never come down
Think about it, Oil/gas prices have pretty much been on a consistent price increase for decades. Sure it will fluctuate with in a small range, but it's not gonna come down to a dollar a gallon again...

You poor sad ignorant mother fucker. OPEC controls the oil flow. Prices are high because of an increased demand (a.k.a. Chinese demand) on the same amount of supply. That always leads to higher prices. next time use that thing between your ears before you speak.colonelioan wrote:

Maybe we should invest in wind power motherfuckers?

I believe that Turquoise is well-versed in economics. I can't wait until the lesson.
I think you are the ignorant, are you like mental or what, US made the fucking OPEC, OPEC is like a mask letting US control the oil flow, dude US controls everything. Prices are high because the US wants to, it gives them more profit. Increased demand? huh, excuse me where did you get that shit?Liberal-Sl@yer wrote:
