US President George W Bush has said that Iran should reveal the full extent of its nuclear programme, or risk further international isolation.

Nobody wants an Iran with nukes of course, but the NIE report isn't enough for GWB.

Why doesn't he come clean and tell everybody why he invaded Iraq? Why can he demand things in such terms while his foreign policy is a pile of shit? Is it just me or this guy is a first class hypocrite and he doesn't care?

well, at least his sticks with his point of view. Once he has labelled a specific person or nation or philosophy as "bad", he'll stick with that assessment, whatever may follow. Jeez, I'd love to have his simple view of the world. Only black and white, not so much grey.

Why can't he get over himself, fly to Teheran, and talk to Ahmadinejad (sp?) like a grown man should ? I mean, they're both power-hungry nutjobs in their own right. There should be some common ground to work with here...

If you're rich, you can think whatever the hell you want. You don't even have to think and you can become president. I swear to god I've heard 5th graders who are smarter than Bush. And I'm seriously not exaggerating.

There is a difference between a US-only National Intelligence Estimate and Iran cooperating fully with the International Atomic Energy Agency on inspections of their nuclear sites. Just because our intel community came to a certain conclusion doesn't mean that the UN feels the same way...

I swear I've heard that argument from some of you WRT Iraq...

This time, the US is saying there's no nuke program and the IAEA is saying they're not playing nice with inspectors. Shoe's on the other foot...
