Can anyone give me a suggestion on a kick ass Motherboard?
I'm not willing to spend more than $300, and SLi preferred or anything that is compatible with a 8800GT.

Do not buy now. I cannot stress this enough If you are buying now though, get either a:
Striker Extreme $299.00
or
EVGA 680i $259.00

When the 780i Chipset comes out, I'd buy the 780i version of those listed above. (45nm support)

EDIT: Ah, text mis-leading, you WILL WANT to buy the 780i.
