Well, I need more RAM, that is not even a discussion here. I currently have 2GB OCZ platinum.

Now, I know 4GB does not compute well with 32-bit - yes, it doesn't compute at all.
So, my question is simple. Should I get another 2GB of OCZ Platinum ( 2x1GB ) or should I get 1 GB of OCZ platinum ( 2x512mb ).

Advantages of A - Can upgrade to 64-bit later on.
Advantage of B - Dual Channel RAM. All slots filled up. 3GB, no sticks lying around.

What is the decision then? The price difference is like £10.

umm. get the 2GB kit. The 32bit Vista can use about 3.5GB. and the price difference being so small, 2GB kit pwns...

price difference is so low, just go for the extra 2GB and upgrade to x64 later.
I'm bothering with the same question as you now zimmer , and I've made the decision I gave above.
